The designer of SYLWIA, Sylwia Wilczynska, started in the fashion world by teaching herself the craftsmanship of design and tailoring. As a child, she dreamed of fashion, diving into her parent’s closet and curating styles. She went on to art school and carved her fashion sense into a career. She opened her first studio in 2008 in Chicago. Shortly after, due to her rapidly growing clientele, Sylwia expanded and opened a boutique in Lincoln Park. She has also designed for SYLWIA JAMES LLC label in Miami.
